Janice is the senior partner of Nelson Oyen Torvik. Her practice focuses on estate planning and probate along with real estate. She is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association Real Property Law Section, is on the Title Standards Committee and is past chair and board member of Southwest Initiative Foundation. Janice has been the Montevideo City Attorney since 1983 and is also the City Attorney for Clarkfield, Appleton, and Milan.
 

Janice has two adult daughters and two grandsons. She is a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Montevideo.
